How soon will I get results?

You should receive your Hepatitis C test results within 2-3 business days although some patients were able to get their results as quickly as 24 hours. Once your results are available, you can receive them either through a phone call or via email.

*If you test before enough antibodies are available to detect, you may still have acute Hepatitis C even if you get a “false negative”. If you have been treated for this virus in the past or were exposed to it, a positive result may appear. The Centers for Disease Control suggests that weak positive results be confirmed with another test within 3 months.
